Holy Spam, Batman

In the time it took me to leave the office and drive home with an errand done along the way (half an hour, tops), my Yahoo email account received 128 spam messages. I usually get half a dozen a day, not 128 in less than an hour!

Did this happen to anyone else?

Ha! Herself just posted today that she was getting much less since the new year, and was this happening to anyone else? Maybe all those got caught in a net and busted free all at once?

Huh. I guess I got all hers, then. Except, no: a bunch of them were supposedly from Tim Horton's, and that would only happen to a Canadian. :-)

Huh, no, but I wonder if your address just got picked up by some spammers. I've had a downturn in spam messages over the last 6 months but that followed an uptick the year before where I would get easily 50 or so a day.

It was back to normal yesterday evening and again today. Weird.
