Angel or Spike?
Spike. I just can't help myself. Love Angel too, but - Spike!
Buffy or Willow?
Tough call. But I've always kind of identified with Willow (the high school nerd with the smarts), so I guess I'll go with her.
Fred or Cordelia?
Cordelia. She got way better lines.
Xander or Oz?
Another tough one. Xander had his flaws, but I think he's an undersung hero. I adored Oz - wish we had been able to see more of him. Oz.
Lilah or Lindsey?
Lilah. She was deliciously evil and was just starting to turn even more interesting when they killed her.
Giles or Joyce?
Giles. Joyce was sweet, but Giles was just perfect.
Wesley or Gunn?
Wesley. All the different stages of Wesley - buffoonish Watcher, Rogue Demon Hunter, haunted Wesley, hollow Wesley - loved them all. He looks good in scruff.
Anya or Tara?
I like the way Tara evolved into mother of the group. It took a while before she got a personality, but I liked it alot when it got there. Anya was kind of one-dimensional, so Tara.
Connor or Dawn?
Before the end of this season, I would have said Dawn. Connor was just so damn irritating in S3&4. But he turned into a nice kid, finally. So, Connor.
Kate or Jenny?
Ooo, liked them both. But Jenny.
Darla or Drusilla?
Geez, these are all such tough calls! I loved Dru's loopiness that actually made sense if you thought about it long enough. But Darla was wonderful in the flashbacks (not so wonderful in BtVS S1) and became fabulously complex in Angel S2. So, Darla.

Who is the best couple?
Buffy w/Angel, Spike, Riley, Parker, or Scott?
Buffy/Spike. JM writ Spike's adoration of her so plainly on his face and went through so much for her. Gotta say B/S.
Angel w/Buffy, Fred, Cordelia, Eve, Darla or Drusilla?
I never felt the need for a romantic relationship for Angel. I really liked the brother/sister thing he had going with Cordelia and was disappointed when they turned into star-crossed lovers. (They *always* do that on TV shows!) I think I liked Angel best with human Darla.
Fred w/Wesley, Gunn, Angel, Spike, or Knox?
I think Fred/Wesley could have made a go of it - though with Wesley's dark side already firmly in place, it would have been a challenge. I would like to have seen that - but without the goopiness that they always showed from Fred.
Xander w/Willow, Anya, Cordelia or Inca Mummy Girl?
I guess Anya. They were together so long, I just got used to them.
Willow w/Xander, Oz, Tara or Kennedy?
ANYONE but Kennedy! Loved, loved, loved Oz. Tara grew on me. So, Oz.

What is your favorite overall episode?
"Fool For Love". *Everything* about that ep was brilliant. And I always like flashback episodes.
Other unconventional favourites include "Lie To Me" and "The Zeppo".
What episode did you cry the most in?
Becoming II. No question.
What episode do you wish you could erase?
I've only seen S6 and S7 once each, so don't feel qualified to choose one of them without giving them a second chance. There were several in S7 that were kinda boring, though. "Beer Bad" I didn't hate as much as some people, but it wasn't that great. I defer my answer until I get the S6&7 DVDs.
Who is your favorite character?
Spike. No waffling there.
Who is your least favorite character?
Olivia had no personality. Anya was irritating, but funny. Dawn was generally annoying, though I did like her scenes with Spike. Dawn.

"Five By Five", "The Trial", "Smile Time", and - gotta say it - "Not Fade Away". Ya, that's more than one. Sue me.
Who is your least favorite character?
Eve. Boring.
What episode were you most surprised by?
Darla being brought back to life by W&H. Angel locking the lawyers in the wine cellar to die. Darla getting pregnant. Lindsey coming back to S5 Angel. More than one. See above.
