I'm not having that for a minute. This comic makes altogether too many sweeping statements about William, Cecily, Halfrek, and the fate of William's acquaintances for my liking!
I read some of the comments to rahirah's post on the matter, but haven't looked too closely at the plot points in the comic. I have it pre-ordered, just because I'm a wee bit obsessive and I feel like I should have it.
BTW, got my Elements of Style yesterday. My knowledge of grammar is so lacking that I do better with the examples than with the text, but I'm relieved to note that my use of commas isn't completely wrong. :-)
Hee. The introduction to Elements - 'Omit needless words! Omit needless words! Omit needless words!' is far and away the funniest grammar book passage I've encountered :)
