Dragon Boat Picspam

This was taken as we were heading out for the Espoir final, our last race. I'm in the last seat of the boat (the one with the ponytail).



Paddling a dragon boat is hard work! That's me again on the back left-hand side. Someone on shore must have had a good telephoto lens to get this shot. I'm not sure what race this was from--not the Espoir final, because our boat for that race was all white.



Our crew. I'm standing behind the crossed paddles. My sister is crouching to my right (the one with the hat). Sadly, our very handsome coach is not in this pic.

It's the shirts--we looked considerably less serious last year when we had ordinary cotton t-shirts. When we were heading towards the boat for our first race, someone from another team said, "They've got the fancy shirts. That can't be a good sign!" :-)
