Question

So, J.K. Rowling announced the title of the final Harry Potter book this week. If you want to play the game she set up, go to www.jkrowling.com, click on the eraser, figure out how to open the study door, and play a game of hangman.

Exactly what are "deathly hallows"?

I dunno. It's still a better title than the last book had though.

I tried googling the phrase to see what came up. Nobody really seems to know, but I did find a couple of kinda interesting(and full of theories) links.

Check out these:

Ooo, I think that first person is on to something with her deathly hallows = hoarcruxes theory. Thanks for the links!

I've heard that hallows can either be saints (like all-hallows eve) or religious artifacts.

Your cheese-cake is fantastic.

Check out the first link that [livejournal.com profile] killerweasel left above. Sounds like deathly hallows might be hoarcruxes.

Glad you liked the cheesecake! (And it's low fat. For cheesecake. :-)
