Serenity Sequel?

In this interview, Alan Tudyk says that plans for a sequel to Serenity may be afoot. Maybe even for real this time.

I hadn't thought about how this might impact Ripper. I do hope it still goes ahead.

Other possibility: Mal et al. must battle and defeat the First, which has regained power after all those hundreds of years and is taunting them in Wash's and Book's forms. After all, River's a slayer, right?

Maybe Joss could work Spike, Angel, and Drusilla into the plot too, 'cause, y'know, immortal. Think of the conversations River and Dru could have. :-)
