Excerpt from an email conversation between me and Jim while we were both at work yesterday afternoon:

Jim: I have an early curling game tonight.
Me: Okay. Are you coming home first?
Jim: Ya - I need pants (forgot them this morning).

What he meant, of course, was that he'd forgotten to take the pants he wears for curling to work with him, not that he'd forgotten to put any on yesterday morning. But still. ::snickers::

1. That's a picture of James laughing I love. My friend Scott took it and told me I could use it as an icon.

2. That's Scully when she's in the rowboat, deciding whether to come back or slip away. I use it at times when I feel like giving up.

3. I used to be a member of Not The BBC Props Department, a Doctor Who prop and costume recreation group. That's me as Peri and Martin as Doctor #5, with the Tardis we built. It's currently in my friend Ed's backyard.

4. Beauty and the Beast. First came Doctor Who, then came that. And so I was absorbed into fandom.

5. Angel and Buffy both think Spike is hot. Of course.

6. My favourite couple from Six Feet Under. Heck, one of my favourite couples from anything. They had a lot to work out, and it was a rocky road, but love got them through.

7. Those are my boys. Really - those are my dolls and I find them in, um, 'interesting' positions on my bed. Even my husband calls them The Boys.
