Confused

So, they think they know where the terrorists are hiding out with their servers and their kidnappees, and their proposed pre-emptive strike is to bomb the place and kill everyone. Why don't they just cut the power off? No internet broadcast without electricity.

::is stumped::

Oh well, doesn't matter - I'll watch anyway. 'Cause Kiefer Sutherland is hot. And - oh! - his voice. It makes me warm inside.

Where you find important servers, you almost always find uninteruptable power sources. :-) (Not that I'm watching "24," mind you. I opted out because of the "bomb everyone and torture anyone who survives" mentality.)

It just seemed a little drastic to immediately consider firing a missile into the complex without at least giving thought to whether there was another way. But that wouldn't have the same level of high drama, I guess.

I've heard that many of the people who were with Nikita are now working on 24. I'm thinking that's where the 'fun with torture' aspect might come from.
