desoto_hia873My father is forever phoning me or my brother-in-law up and asking us to check a listing in the TV guide. So I ordered a TV Guide subscription for him online last week as a Christmas gift. What did the good folks at TV Guide do? Sent him a card - which he received YESTERDAY - informing him that he had been given a gift subscription!
Why in heaven's name couldn't they have waited another week? How high an IQ does it take to figure out that mid-December gift subscription = Christmas present? Do these people not have the common sense God gave goats??
