A Drabble!

phendog, who requested a graduation-themed drabble.
She came back to see her former classmates graduate. No one knew she was there – if they couldn’t see her when she was one of them, they certainly couldn’t see her now. She listened to the boring speeches, watched in astonishment as the Mayor transformed, and clapped her hands when the vampires ran amok. Seeing Principal Snyder get eaten made her laugh out loud.
Then the students banded together, pulled out their weapons, defeated the demons, and blew up the school. The number of casualties was disappointingly low.
Still bitter, Marcie turned away. She’d been cheering for the giant snake.
