Purpleness

This is entirely styrofoam_guy's fault--he was the one who told me about The Prop Store of London. Last month, I bought some framed bank notes from the heist in Serenity. This month, I bought a jacket:



It was worn by the Proper Lady during the street scene on Beaumonde. I've looked for it on my DVD, but can't find it. The Proper Lady is, however, mentioned in the Serenity Visual Companion script. She has an actual line of dialogue in the script, but I'm guessing she wound up on the editing room floor.

The Proper Lady was played by Linda Jewell. IMDb doesn't have Serenity listed in her credits, but she was in an episode of Angel.

Anyway, I thought it was pretty, it wasn't hideously expensive, and, best of all, it fits! I'm going to a Chinese wedding in September and this is what I'm wearing. :-)
