The End Is Near
Mar. 29th, 2007 12:04 amMoving day -1. Jim and I went and signed our souls over to Wolfram & Hart Jim's lawyer this afternoon. Closing day is tomorrow. However, since Jim knows the sellers, they gave us the combination for their fancy door lock a day early, and we went over and walked around the new house tonight. I brought a bottle of wine and some wine glasses, and we sat in the dining room and toasted our future. :-)
I'm pretty much packed, finally. I may never be able to find anything again, but it's all in boxes, at least. I've even unhooked the TV, VCR, and DVD player (sob). Though obviously not my computer. That's definitely a last minute thing.
Movers are due to arrive at 8:30 am tomorrow. The new washer, dryer, and stove are due to arrive sometime on Friday. Mom is due to arrive on Saturday to help with the unpacking (she's a good mother :-). LittlestJim and MiddleJim are due to arrive around 3:30 pm tomorrow and will no doubt be major hindrances to the entire process.
I'm off work until next Tuesday, by which time I will hopefully have found my underwear again.
