I'll keep watching. The slowness of the miniseries was helpful in establishing the many characters. I have difficulty keeping unfamiliar faces straight--fast-paced movies and shows starring actors I've never seen before generally leave me totally confused.
Also, the revelation regarding Boomer in last scene of the miniseries was a very effective hook. O_O
