World, Mostly Turning

Venice kind of reminded me of Amsterdam, actually. Lots of canals and lots of little bridges. The architecture was different, though--less brick and not so many skinny buildings. Also, I was less illiterate in Venice than I was in Amsterdam--I could "read" some Italian because I know some French and Spanish. Dutch, however, is a different beast altogether. Fortunately, the Dutch are very multilingual!
