Isn't it? I don't imagine that the circumstances leading up to the cancelled wedding were very pleasant, but what a way to turn something bad into something good.
Good for them! That's a great attitude - we're not going to get the money back, so let's do *something* with it. Can't help wondering how happy the girl is that her wedding fiasco is quite such big new news, though :-)
