So very true! When I saw a story on the shopkeepers bringing people tea, I lost it and started to cry...it's just so wonderful to see! They rock, pure and simple.

Events like these are terrible, but they do bring out the best in people. I went down to the American embassy a couple of times in the week after 9/11 and I'll never forget the (literally) thousands of flowers, notes, and stuffed animals along the front fence. Everyone wanted to do something, anything, to show that they cared.
