I finally made it up to 2000 points (well, 2005 points, actually) on the Browncoats site and just cashed them in for an official Serenity bandana. It was either that or chopsticks. I'm not entirely sure what I'm going to do with it, but it amuses me.

If you go to the movie site (www.serenitymovie.com), click on 'Join The Browncoats' and it'll take you to the Browncoats site. You have to register before you can do much there. Once you do, you'll find a huge message board, a weekly poll and trivia question, and various challenges that you can earn points by doing. I don't know how long they're going to keep up the challenges now that the movie's out - the current ones end on Oct. 30 and there haven't been any new ones for a while. Which is why I cashed in my points and got the bandana - I figured I might as well get something while I could.

Hey - I finally saw the Star Trek episode with David Soul last weekend! I kept squinting at the other orange guy for the first 30 minutes and saying "I don't think that's him - he's too old", but he was quite recognisable when he finally came onscreen.

The Apple is so awesome because of the David Soul casting. This man was the downfall of his society because he thought "sex is good, we should do that." It's brillant!
