Crash Landing

I very carefully packed my laptop, router, and brand new modem, and drove them down to Peterborough in the car instead of entrusting them to the movers. And then completely forgot where I'd put the modem and have been looking for it for two whole days. I finally found it about half an hour ago. After hooking everything up, I discovered that my desktop computer will not power up, but I HAVE INTERNET ON MY LAPTOP!!!
Two days. ::wheeze:: No internet. ::wheeze:: Withdrawal symptoms severe.
Now I must start downloading all the shows that I've missed since the weekend.
God, moving is a pain.
