There are worse things than reading glasses! (I have 2 pairs in my desk at work, one pair in each room at home except the bathroom and a couple pairs at the cottage. I just keep forgetting where I put them.)
I don't actually need the reading glasses for normal reading (yet), but I'm finding it increasingly difficult to do things like thread a needle or read tiny print. So I conceded to my fate and bought some.
I haven't hit the hot flashes stage yet and I'm starting to wonder if I will. We have a lot of endometriosis in our family and I suspect I'm getting it. Most of my immediate female relatives had 'artificial menopause' imposed on them, if you get my drift.
