If you like dark humour and don't mind a certain amount of gore, Dexter is all kinds of awesome. I bought the Season 1 DVDs a couple of weeks ago and watched the second-last episode last night. I can't wait to see how it all unfolds in the finale tonight.
I'm really impressed by Michael C. Hall as an actor. He's gone from playing a slightly neurotic, gay funeral home director to a straight forensics expert by day, "good" serial killer by night, and he's equally comfortable in both roles. Also, he has Darla (Julie Benz) as a girlfriend.

You should definitely watch Six Feet Under if you get the chance. It's an absolutely excellent series--I'd put it in my top 5 all-time favourites. It goes through a bit of a slump in parts of S2, but the rest is addictive. And it has possibly the best series finale ever.

Date: 2008-03-13 06:54 pm (UTC)That's what people keep telling me. My mind boggles--S1 didn't have a single weak point. I'm currently downloading S2--it may take a week to get it, but I will get it! (And probably buy the DVDs when they come out, too.)
