Fanfic Author Appreciation #3

I discovered LiveJournal through open_on_sundays. I lurked for a while, made myself an account, and gingerly waded into the fray. I'm remarkably dense sometimes - it took me a while to figure out that there were an awful lot of BtVS/AtS fanfic authors here. Eventually, light did begin to dawn and I discovered people I hadn't read before.

flurblewig was my first LJ friend, is the best and most encouraging beta reader ever, and writes amazing fics. Pick a story - any story - and it will be a great one. She can write any pairing that you can come up with - from Faith/Owen to Snygel - and they all *work*. It's like magic. Nothing That I Understand is a great look at Angel's relationships and Better Stay A While is a wonderfully original approach to a fanfic story. I'll recommend By Any Other Name again, too, because she wrote it for me. :-)
