So, the guy in the stealth fighter only scored an indirect hit on Air Force One with an air to air missile? He's not got very good aim.
I should think that large chunks of a plane crashing into the ground within walking distance of one's tent would wake you up.
Anyone know why they call that thing 'the football'?

I kinda thought the episode was ridiculous. Jack gave two people he had no idea were who they said they were the combination to open the football? Stupid, stupid, stupid. I think the show has jumped the shark for this season.

Good point. I have to admit, a few things have made me go "huh?" this season. The first being when they were trying to stop the collapse of the internet and knew that it was being orchestrated in the warehouse - why didn't they just cut off the power to that building? Or do as they did several episodes later and set off an EMP?
I think big chunks of a jet falling from several thousand feet would have bounced the campers right out of their tent rather than just been mistaken for a nightmare. Not that that's a major plot point.
Sharks notwithstanding, it's still fun to watch - because Kiefer Sutherland's voice is teh sex. :-) Also, I'm dying to have Edgar and Chloe hook up. OTP! I just have to watch it relatively early in the evening because it makes me tense and then I can't get to sleep.

Date: 2005-04-14 02:25 am (UTC)I've been a Keifer fan since Stand By Me or Lost Boys, whichever came first, but this is the first season I've been able to get into 24. I'm enjoying it for the most part, but, good lord, the plot is getting out of hand!

I liked last year's 24. I guess they have the same Big Bad problem as BtVS - each season has to have a bigger threat and that much more drama. Next year, he'll be battling the Vogons. :-)
