Open On Sunday Drabble Challenge - Beginnings

I wrote this one a few weeks ago, but it fits the theme of beginnings. Warning: extreme silliness ahead.


Title: Idaho
Setting: Pre-BtVS Season 2
Rating: PG13

He dropped out of high school after tenth grade, bought a moped, and went travelling. He hooked up with Ladonna in Idaho; they'd go to Ellens Air Base at night to smoke a little weed, listen to some tunes, and watch the light show. It was cool.

Then things got heavy. They were chased by a helicopter, picked up by the FBI, and he still wasn't sure what happened to that Mulder guy. It was seriously weird shit.

Oz thought maybe it was time to go back to school. Learn guitar. Join a band.

Somewhere a long way from Idaho.


[A/N: This only makes senses if you've seen "Deep Throat" from Season 1 of The X-Files. Which I saw for the first time not long ago and which inspired me to write this nonsense. Seth Green guest starred in it as "Emil" (though his name is never mentioned on-screen - I guess it's in the script or something). Maybe Oz's full name is Daniel Emil Osbourne?]
