In case anyone was wondering what the house looked like--here are the pics from the real estate agent's website. The furniture in them belongs to the sellers, of course.
Exterior
This is the side and back of the house--looks pretty in the snow, doesn't it? The front has a both an enclosed garage and a carport. The property is not quite half an acre big, so lots of room. The little gazebo-y thing next to the tree houses the pump from the original well (no longer used, of course, but it looks neat).
Master Bedroom
This is my cave. Note the leaded glass windows behind the bed. The patio doors to the left lead outside to a deck near the pool.
Living Room 1
One view of the living room. That's a fireplace between the rocking chair and the TV stand. The dog's name is Hamish, but he doesn't come with the house. :-(
Living Room 2
The living room when you look the other way.
Dining Room
The dining room. The little window on the right is a pass-through to the kitchen. The current owner has made leaded glass inserts that can be pulled open and closed.
Kitchen
The kitchen isn't huge. I may have to look for a nice, big antique pantry to increase the cabinet space. Not much of a chore--I love shopping for antiques.
Downstairs Bathroom
The downstairs bathroom. Very elegant!
Big Bedroom
The big upstairs bedroom. All three kids are gonna be fighting over who gets this one--it's huge.
Pool
Backyard with pool. The two trees on the far side of the pool are enormous--they must be at least 50 years old, if not more. Yes, there will be a hammock. :-)
